‘North Sea Surf’
This painting was a very intensive work. Due to the many foam formations with an approaching wave, there are many details that need to be painted. With oil paint, drying time is of course necessary before the next layer can be applied.
The inspiration for this painting came from the photos shown below. I rented a high quality camera that day which made the details very visible. The photos were taken on December 27, 2019 at Wassenaar beach.
